Along with tailgating and going to games in Death Valley, dressing up is a fundamental part of showing support for our “Fighting Tigers.” So in anticipation of returning to the loudest stadium in the country, the time has come to start planning your LSU game day outfits for the 2022 season! What to Wear to Each LSU Game in November
LSU vs Alabama

The game every tiger fan has been anticipating, our biggest opponent in the SEC from Alabama, is coming to Death Valley on November 5th! It’s no secret that Alabama and LSU have a historic feud that is not going away anytime soon, so Tiger fans have to show up and look as stylish as possible for our favorite football team! The stadium seats should be a sea of purple and gold, washing away all crimson and red in sight, making them roll back home to Tuscaloosa.
While you may want to pull out a cute tank and skirt set, let’s be real, Louisiana nights are usually cold this time of year. As sad as it is to see the warm weather go, there are still numerous fashionable ways you can rock purple and gold. Sweater weather has been going strong for a while at this point, so putting together a cozy purple and gold outfit should be easy-peasy. On October 1st, let’s show Auburn that tigers look much better dressed in purple and gold than in orange and blue when our fighting tigers beat them on their turf!

We need to make it clear to the University of Florida that, other than on the field, the LSU Tigers do not play around when it comes to football. So, as the camera pans to the student section when they recreate the famous 2019 “Gator Chomp,” you will want to look nothing less than the best for the press!
Wear purple or gold bottoms with a printed top that is stylish enough to make the Florida fans’ “fits” look like tiger bait! A simple white puff sleeve dress with purple and gold accessories will work too!

Dress to defeat during our homecoming game while our fantastic football team makes Ole Miss wish they never left Oxford! The Rebels are known for going all out for game days, so naturally, we have to remind them that the LSU Tigers have the best-dressed fans in the entire SEC! You don’t want to be the one who “misunderstood the assignment” during our homecoming game, so make sure your gold outshines the sea of red, navy, and powder blue.

The ultimate battle between Baton Rouge schools, LSU’s second game, will be against Southern University on September 10! While looking good might be your priority, this will likely be one of the season's hottest games, so make sure you stay hydrated and dress accordingly! You can stay cool AND show your pride for your Baton Rouge football team by wearing a trendy game day skirt or shorts!

On September 17th, dress like a champion to support LSU during the “Champions” game when they go head to head against one of their biggest SEC rivals, Mississippi State! Remember, it will still be hot in Baton Rouge, so you will want to consider this while out-dressing the competition. This means you should def opt for something cool, like a romper or dress!
Just make sure you look game day ready; you can do this and stay cool in any of our game day dresses, a purple dress, a yellow dress, or even a white dress! Just be sure to add some pops of purple or gold with some cute earrings or a necklace! Champions are often dressed in gold and just so happen to be one of LSU’s colors! “Purple” is the theme for the Tiger’s game against New Mexico on September 24th! You can either go all out and create a monochromatic look with a purple game day top and purple bottoms or tastefully add a few purple pieces to whatever you plan on wearing. Like the other games at Death Valley in September, it will be hot outside, so shop for purple dresses, purple game day skirts & shorts, and other cool clothing that will not cause you to get overheated!
